Nikolay

Nikolay is a fuller Eastern Slavic cousin of Nicholas, from the Greek nike and laos, victory of the people. Where Nikola trims the ending, Nikolay keeps that extra y-glide, giving the name a slightly more formal, written-in-ink feel.
