Enzo

The clipped Italian short form of names like Lorenzo and Vincenzo, Enzo has the bark of a Ferrari V12 built into its two vowels — fitting, since Enzo Ferrari founded the Maranello stable in 1947 and bequeathed the sound to a century of red cars. It became a runaway hit in France in the 1990s and 2000s, briefly the number one boys' name in the country, and has since caught on across Italy, Brazil, and the United States.
